Season 4 brings some cool new content including new items, a new event, and of course, a brand new hero, Fern. As always, Backpack Brawl MVP will be updated to feature Fern items, Fern builds, and general information. Rapidfire requests a brief embargo period at the start of each season to prevent spoilers for the general public, so expect to see Fern added to the site in a couple of weeks. As I'm sure you've noticed, there have been some major changes around here!
For starters, the blog page is now setup like a proper blog. Instead of having one long page to scroll through, I've broken it down into sections:
Each section contains links to individual blog posts - just like the one you're reading now. I did this to allow you to share posts more easily, and so you can find old posts without digging for ages.
If you're looking for old content, it's in the archives.
The builder now features a side-by-side layout on desktop. This will activate on really short monitors to give you more space. I may extend this to desktop users in general in the future, as many seem to like it.
You can also now edit your own builds while logged in. This allows you to change the info you entered, but not the items. To edit a build, simply go to its page while logged in and click the edit link.
I've also discovered a few bugs with the help of the community. Just a reminder, if you notice something unusual about the builder or the site in general, you are encouraged to report it here or by pinging/DMing me on Discord.
